Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. It couldn’t have been a better return to silver screen for her. Yes, we know her comeback film is Jazbaa and then Sarbjit, but we feel this is her true blue comeback. Whatever role she played in the film, it’s just amazing. We couldn’t take our eyes off her all through the film and that means she has finally arrived. She looked breathtakingly beautiful and that made her the biggest highlight of the film. And guess audience to seconds our view as Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has become the biggest hit of her career, beating Dhoom 2

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil till last count earned a whopping 84. 75 cr. The first week closed at more than 80 crore and by earning more than 4 crore on its second Friday, the film took the total to 84. 75 cr which helped Aishwarya beat Dhoom 2’s lifetime collection of 82. 3 cr at the box office.

We told you how Aishwarya was one of the best things about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Those of us who were deprived of the fabulous Fawad Khan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil found some solace in the very gorgeous and talented Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Yes, the blue eyed beauty only had an extended cameo in the film, but there’s no denying that this is one of the best roles that Aishwarya has portrayed recently. And it’s not just her ultra glamorous avatar that we’re talking about the lady even managed to steal the thunder from the film’s leads with her special appearance. Saba is a character that couldn’t have been justified by anyone but Aishwarya. And no again we are not referring to her drop-dead gorgeous looks or her shayarana andaaz, of course that also adds to the film and her character, but there are a few scenes which proves that here’s a talent waiting to be exploited. For hers is the only genuine emotion you will relate to and sympathise with when the film is over and the end credits start to role. Yes, you will also feel terrible for Fawad Khan, but the reasons there would be completely different.
