6 stills from Hans Mat Pagli song of Toilet Ek Prem Katha prove it to be the MOST ROMANTIC song of the year!
As the release date of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is nearing, the movie is just getting into more troubles. It was just few days ago when Praveen Vyas, documentary movie maker alleged that makers of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer that the movie is a direct copy of his short film ‘Manini’. Because the team has denied the allegations, Vyas and screenplay writer of ‘Manini’ decided to take up the issue to the court. And now there is another fresh trouble developed for this upcoming movie. As per a report in a leading daily, a regional filmmaker has alleged that the song Hans Math Pagli is copied from his movie titled ‘Laadli’.
Now that’s absolutely shocking. ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is slated to release on August 11. A regional filmmaker has slapped a legal notice stating that it has violated the Copyright Act by lifting the song Hans Math Pagli from a regional film that released on April 7 this year, reports DNA. The regional movie maker forwarded the same complaint to Indian film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC).
“One of the famous songs in the movie, ‘Hans Mat Pagli Pyar Ho Jaega’ was approved in the favor of us by IFPTC and till date its registration is with us,” said Vipin Tiwari who directed and produced the movie. He further added, “‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’ in its promo is screening the very song without permission of us. Also, the song of Akshay’s movie has similar picturisation of the scene on Holi festival in Braj area which is similar to the picturisation in ‘Laadli’.”
The legal notice sent to Neeraj Pandey read, “I hereby call upon you to immediately withdraw the promos in this regard used without permission of my client and further not to release movie and to give reply to the said infringement of copyright on punch line and use of title song within a period of 7 days from receipt of notice,” reports the daily. Even the IFTPC has issued a letter to Neeraj Pandey asking to submit a reply to within three days.
